Lesson Scheduling & Attendance:
Consistency is Key: Weekly lessons are strongly encouraged to ensure steady progress. Most students find one lesson per week is ideal for maintaining a strong learning rhythm and allowing enough practice time between sessions.
Rescheduling & Cancellations:
If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. As a traveling instructor, I kindly ask for your consideration, as I coordinate multiple locations and schedules on certain days.
While there is no late cancellation fee or loss of lesson, cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may need to be rescheduled at a less convenient time, based on limited availability.
If cancellations become a consistent issue, your time slot may be offered to other students who can commit to the scheduled time.
Missed Lessons: In cases of illness or emergencies, I will do my best to accommodate make-up lessons based on availability. However, missed lessons without prior notice may not be rescheduled.
At-Home Lesson Requirements:
For in-home lessons, students must have the necessary equipment, including a music stand, instrument, and any required lesson materials (method books, sheet music, etc.).
Students will be provided with a list of required materials before and after their second lesson.
Payment & Billing:
Lessons may be billed on a weekly/monthly rate. Payment is due after each lesson unless otherwise arranged. Parents may opt for monthly payments, as long as all previously scheduled lessons have been completed before a new statement is issued.
Payments can be made via:
Cash
Checks: Payable to Jennifer M. Lacy
Cashapp: $MarieDreams
ApplePay: (254)523-5920
Venmo: @MarieDreams

Online Lessons: Available for students who prefer remote learning or need flexible scheduling.
Additional Notes:
Students enrolled in the Flute High School Preparatory Program will receive complimentary piano accompaniment for their auditions or performances based on grade 2 to 3 music.
Sewing Projects: For our sewing lessons, special project-based sessions may be available, especially during summer, where students will work on a single project over several lessons.
Health & Safety:
Please inform me of any health or safety concerns (allergies, injuries, etc.) that may impact lessons or the learning environment.
All students must adhere to health guidelines for in-person lessons (masking, social distancing, etc.) as required by local regulations.
If you or anyone in the home has been sick within the last 24 hours, please allow time to reschedule the lesson.
